What if I told you the way you think is the biggest factor holding your business back?
That’s what we tackled in a recent Growth Club session: 10X Thinking—the way of thinking that will help you work less, make more, AND love the journey.
Here’s the gist:
Most of us when we look to grow we largely think about what we need to do more of.
And this is a trap because growth ISN’T about doing more….
Let me explain the trap of 2X Thinking and the Freedom that comes with 10X Thinking.
💡 2X Thinking has the goal of doubling your business and directs your thinking mostly towards doing more of what you are already doing, perhaps with a few new ideas thrown in.
Make more calls, post more content etc.
This has a solid growth ceiling and is the formula for working much harder for very little (if any) increase in revenue.
💡 10X Thinking on the other hand is about creating exponential lasting growth.
It’s building systems, delegating smarter, and solving challenges with creativity and abundance.
For example, instead of calling 2X more candidates you think how could I attract 10X the number of candidates?
It’s pretty tricky to call 10X as many candidates, so you have to think BIGGER.
With some thought and focus you’ll be able to create ways to develop systems in your business that will attract 10X those candidates.
“It’s bigger picture thinking for long term growth.”
For example, you may create a partnership with a college whereby they promote you to graduates providing you a pipeline of candidates. You might partner with a non-competitive agency or invest in AI tools etc.
10X thinking lets you dare to be creative and go after something big.

Here’s how to start shifting into 10X thinking mode:
1️ Make a list of what drains your energy. Delegate or delete these so you have space to be creative. Use VAs if you’re a solo operator and let go of any thinking that doing it yourself is saving money – the opposite is true.
2️ Stop asking, “How can I do this?” Start asking, “Who can help me do this?” Again, taking more off your plate so can focus on higher level work. And, also, using experts will help you see opportunities that aren’t so apparent to you.
3️ Be intentional and focussed. Be very clear about your vision and your goals for your business and pull them into the now by creating a clear action plan to get you there.
Bonus tip: The more time you spend in 10X thinking, the more inspired, creative, and energized you’ll feel.
