Feeling overwhelmed by content creation?

Do you feel like the time that it takes you to create social content is disproportionate to the ROI?

Well, that’s because it’s true.

When you line it up against other marketing strategies like SEO and email marketing etc, that’s the case.

It’s not that social content doesn’t work.

It absolutely does.

It’s just that we tend to create it in a really clunky way.

I’d love to share a couple of quick ways that you can streamline your content to achieve a better ROI and save yourself time.

1. Repurpose everything

  • If you write it, say it or film it, repost it:)
  • Turn your LinkedIn posts into emails
  • Turn your LinkedIn comments into posts
  • Turn longer videos into reels or pull quotes
  • You can even turn text into video
  • Be omnipresent across at least 3 channels.

🛠 A couple of handy tools.  Lumen 5 (to turn text into video) and Opus clips for creating reels (Which btw are working really well right now)

2. Have a Plan

  • Plan out your content over a month. Then you can batch create it so that you’re not trying to do it on the fly.
  • If you’d like it, here is a one pager with 100 quick content ideas you can use.
  • Sure, you want to be able to do adhoc posts too as timely ideas come to you, but having a monthly plan will take the stress out of posting for you.

3. Add a call to action

  • You don’t need to add a call to action to every piece of content, just where it works.
  • Sense check it isn’t too salesy.
  • A great call to action is to share something of value. It could be anything from a recent interview you did to a new AI tool you’re loving. Or lead people to the next step to learn more about you.

If you do these three things you’ll find the amount of great content you share and the engagement goes up and the time creating it goes down.

Let me know how you go.
